Word of the Senne Brewery : "La Jambe-de-Bois is a generously hopped Triple. A heady blonde, it is very balanced and its alcohol strength is never aggressive, which makes it dangerously easy to drink. The aromas of fermentation dominate, and are reminiscent of pear and very ripe banana. The hops then develop, with floral and spicy notes (white pepper, nutmeg). Its alcohol level gives it a certain roundness, but the absence of residual sugars makes its finish dry and slightly bitter."
