Word of Sauro Maule : "The name GRANSELVA derives from Selva di Montebello, the place where the grapes for this wine are produced, from young 10-year-old vines of the Garganega, Durella and Chardonnay varieties, pressed directly in whole clusters without maceration, fermented in steel tanks. Refining is always done in steel, for around 7 months before bottling, which gives a fresh and fruity wine, with high acidity and freshness, to be enjoyed both as an aperitif and with different dishes. "
