Word of RODENBACH : "This is an aged Belgian red beer, 'quietly matured in oak barrels for two years,' according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of grape-rich fruit, with acidic notes, very close to of a slightly acidic red wine or perhaps a gueuze. On the palate it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries perceptible, and very lively. Despite its sweetness, it does not It's not at all easy to drink, it's even fine, with little or no traces of malt. The finish is lively and fruity."
